A classic territorial wine, linked to the estate, offering an unfiltered expression of Taboadella’s wonderful terroir, as we idealised it when we first arrived.
With almost indescribable aromatic complexity, it is a great white wine that is firm, with a silky texture and refined linearity. With high concentration, it is a magnificent wine with a vibrant acidity that only the Dão region can offer, with a long, persistent and very precise finish. A production of 7.000 bottles
It is a white wine that presents an interesting aromatic complexity, revealing notes of white pulp fruits, such as apricots, pears and peaches, blending with citrus nuances, such as grapefruit and orange peel. It is a very mineral white wine, fresh and unctuous, with balsamic notes of great quality and very balanced acidity.

Grapes: Encruzado 100%
Grapes come from south-east oriented vineyards at an altitude of 485m
After the pressing process, 20% of the wine was fermented and aged in cement vats and 80% was aged in new 500-liter French oak barrels for 10 months.
An atypical spring, initially quite cold, combined with the deliberate technical option to delay pruning, led to a delay in the overall harvest cycle, making it possible to avoid exposure to the late frosts that occurred in the first half of April. Flowering took place under sunny conditions promoting generous grape formation and resulting in full clusters. There was no rainfall in June, July and August, with high daytime temperatures and mild nights, which permitted good development of the bunches. These thermal amplitudes in the perfectly planted and adapted vineyards, combined with the high level of water in the subsoil, enabled balanced evolution of the maturation process, and resulted in an exceptional quality of the grapes. The specific conditions of Taboadella's microclimate enabled us to make wines with a profile and richness that reflect this unique terroir. The white grapes benefited from a high concentration of aromas and structure in this year of extraordinarily favourable climatic conditions.

A white wine made exclusively from Encruzado grapes grown in granitic soils in the Silvã de Cima (Castendo) area; it underwent fermentation and a 10-month aging period—20% in concrete vessels and 80% in new French oak barrels. It stands out for its excellent mouthfeel, creamy yet firm texture, and refreshing acidity, which envelop perfectly ripe white and stone fruit flavors, lending fluidity and depth to the whole. Structured yet refined and fresh, it offers a persistent finish with reductive, citrus, peach, floral, sweet spice, umami, and dried fruit nuances.
