Quinta de Lemos is nestled at an altitude of around 340 meters on the Beira Alta plateau, in the heart of the Dão region, one of the oldest wine-growing areas in Portugal. The family estate comprises 25 hectares of vineyards, complemented by olive trees and beehives. It is also home to the Michelin-starred gastronome Mesa de Lemos, where the estate's wines find their perfect gastronomic home.

Food pairing
The Dona Paulette pairs beautifully with rich fish dishes such as grilled sea bass or cod, shellfish, poultry with creamy sauces, and soft to semi-hard cheeses. It is also excellent as a gastronomic accompaniment to a festive dinner.
 
Grapes: 100% Encruzado
Vinified in stainless steel tanks at 13ºC, with two-thirds of the fermentation completed in new French oak barrels for 12 months.
This gives the wine a unique layering: the freshness of the stainless steel tanks combined with the complexity and creaminess of the oak. The wine displays minerality and wood that together provide complexity, complemented by resinous plant nuances, eucalyptus, mint, hazelnut, and tamarillo. It is fresh, with well-integrated acidity in a structured body.
 
The vines grow on slopes between 350 and 400 meters in altitude, with a density of 6,060 plants pruned using the double Guyot system. The vineyard is managed within an integrated protection program, and the use of herbicides is prohibited. Weed control is carried out through tillage. The harvest takes place manually when the grapes reach their optimal ripeness, usually in the second half of September. The grapes are harvested in small 10 kg containers.
