The port wines from Caves Messias produced in the Quinta do Cachao in the Cima Corgo, in the most rugged and inaccessible part of the Douro region. At the Quinta do Cachão one is proud that half of the vineyards belong to the highest classification level of the Douro "A".
Deep purple color, on the nose is rich in wild berries with some balsamic notes, that gives an elegant aroma. In the mouth, it shows a great intensity and structure, a perfect balance between the sweetness and a good acidity, with a long and pleasant aftertaste

Grapes: Touriga Nacional , Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz & Tinta Barroca
Wine fermented with partial destemming at a controlled temperature (24-28ºC) when the must reaches the desired sweetness value, fermentation is interrupted by the addition of brandy (77%). A very high quality wine obtained by blending different wines from different harvests, reaching the age indicated on the label, having these aged in oak wood until they are bottled in the warehouses in Vila Nova de Gaia.

Leuchtendes Violettschwarz. Aromen von Sauerkirschen, schwarzem Holunder und Dörrpflaumen, dazu edle Holzwürze. Elegante Süsse, crèmig, mit präsentem, aber sehr geschmeidigem Tannin, angepasste Säure, perfekt proportioniert. Sehr trinkig. Charmeur im guten Sinne.
