The style of this port is fruity, sweet. On the nose the port has red berries, dried fruit (cranberries) and a pepper. The color is deep dark red and in the mouth you can taste berries, cherries, chocolate and Aceto Balsamic vinegar.
In the easternmost part of the Douro, close to the Spanish border, we find Quinta do Vale Meão in the Douro Superior.
