Foot trodden in the traditional lagares for 6
days, malolatic fermentation and ageing in 225 litres
French Oak barrels for 18 months. The barrels were 30%
new and 70% used (2nd year).

Sousão is considered a minor grape in the Douro, but in this bottling, it takes center stage. The wine is rich and peppery, full of black fruits with some young, firm tannins. It has a fine potential, with black plum and spice flavors. Drink from 2026.
