Grapes: 70% Touriga Nacional, 30% Alfrocheiro Preto

The grapes were harvested by hand and placed in small 25 kg crates after a careful selection of the best grapes in the vineyard. The grapes were completely destemmed and placed in small stainless steel tanks. Fermentation lasted approximately 15 days at a controlled temperature with gentle pumping over to ensure good extraction of color and aromas. After fermentation, the wine aged for 12 months in French (80%) and American (20%) oak barrels.

Added to this component is the long experience of the Casa dos Condes de Santar e Magalhães in the winemaking tradition in the region and the country, and the family legacy brought by Pedro de Vasconcellos e Souza, the "Pater" winemaker of this project. A vineyard garden is one that engages all the senses.
