TSAJPR004 Duorum Colheita 2023 Tinto

A wine with a deep red color and purple hues. The lush, fresh and complex aroma is dominated by ripe black fruit such as blackberries and also aromas of plums and cassis. Some floral notes of violets and spices from the ripening of the wine in the barrels. Full-bodied, with a well-balanced acidity. Sturdy, ripe tannins and an elegant, long and persistent aftertaste. This wine begs for another sip as its mellifluous flavors develop well into the finish. This is a modern, polished Douro red, powerful but balanced.

Duorum comes from Latin and means “of two” or “belonging to two people.” It refers to the partnership between the two founders, João Portugal Ramosa nd José Maria Soares Franco. So the name highlights that the wine is the result of two experienced winemakers working together as also referring to the fact that the grapes come from 2 different parts of the Douro region.

Winemaker
Duorum Vinhos started in January 2007 as a wish of João Portugal Ramos and José Maria Soares Franco - 2 winemakers who have defined the history of Portugal in recent decades - to join their activities as professional winemakers. And that's how Duorum, a project "of two" in the ancient vineyards of the Douro is being built up. Characterized by wines with unique characteristics and an international dimension.

Region: Douro
