Did you know Vinho Verde can be red? That’s right! The name of a region, rather than a style of wine, it includes vibrant, light-to-medium-bodied reds like this indigenous blend, full of strawberry fruit lifted by very pleasant acidity. Chillable!
Pardusco was the name given to the first red wines, wich were exported to England in the fourteenth century. This wine is a tribute to that glorious past

Grapes: Alvarelhão, Cainho, Pedral & Vinhão
The grapes come from Monção in the north and the valley of the Lima, on the west side of Vinho Verde. The wine is made by first applying a cold soak to the skins for more color. After a slow fermentation at low temperature - for the fruit - a ripening takes place on used barrels, which have served for the Alvarinho, in combination with a micro-oxygenation, to soften the tannin
