Luis Louro is the son of Miguel Louro, from Quinta do Mouro. He created Adega Monte Branco in 2004, in Estremoz, after two years buying land, planting and acquiring vineyards. He does not use herbicides and has increasingly focused on local grape varieties. He works a total of 28 hectares divided into five plots, all in Estremoz, the oldest of which was planted in 1993.

The vines are planted in a soil consisting of limestone and slate. Harvested manually. Completely upset. Cold maceration for 2 days. Fermentation in stainless steel with temperature control (26/27 °C). Aged 18 months in used French oak wood of 300L.
