It is a very fresh red wine with notes of red fruits and spices, namely cinnamon. On the palate it has a full body, in a well-achieved balance between the two grape varieties used, Alicante Bouschet and Trincadeira, the first providing robustness and the second giving it a good structure. This wine has been aged in oak, but everything is very well integrated, with perfect acidity. A very elegant wine with a luscious, long and persistent finish.
  
Born and raised in the Alentejo region, Luís Louro developed a strong connection to the land from a very young age, following in his family's footsteps. After completing his studies in oenology and an internship in Sonoma County, at the age of 23 Luís decided to pursue his own project, becoming the producer of Adega do Monte Branco in 2004. Restless and with an innovative spirit, also supported by oenologist Inês Capão, Luís launched a remarkable wine at the beginning of the year, the XX, commemorating the 20th anniversary of Adega do Monte Branco.

Delicious with dishes with red (grilled) beef and roast beef
 
Grapes: 75% Alicante Bouschet, 25% Trincadeira. 
Soils of schist and calcareous. Vinification: Manual harvested. Total destemming. The Alicante Bouschet from 2017 fermented in lagar (traditional stone trough) with foot treading, Trincadeira from 2018, 2019 and 2020 fermented in vats. The Alicante Bouschet ages in a 2200L foudre. At the end of each 12-month period, 10% of the volume is removed and added to Trincadeira. In total, it aged for 4 years.

Este tinto é surpreendente pela frescura aromática que mostra, com balanço perfeito entre a robustez do Alicante Bouschet e a estrutura conferida pela Trincadeira. Surpreendentemente jovem na prova de boca, com acidez notável e uma integração perfeita da madeira que aqui ajuda o conjunto sem marcar o vinho. Resulta um tinto polido, com muita finura de fruta negra e um final de grande classe.
