How to compose your frame
For one complete stretcher frame, order two identical lengths for the width and two identical lengths for the height:
- 40 × 63 cm → order 2 × 40 cm + 2 × 63 cm
- 33 × 60 cm → order 2 × 33 cm + 2 × 60 cm
Canvas & sizing tips
- Keep the fabric at least 3 cm larger on each side than the frame.
- Stretch evenly and fold corners last.
- Use the included wedges to re-tension the canvas.
Choosing between 45 mm and 65 mm
When to choose 45 mm?
- Smaller, lightweight canvases (e.g., 30×40, 40×50, 40×80 cm).
- When the artwork will be framed.
When to choose 65 mm?
- Larger canvases requiring extra rigidity.
- Unframed wall display.
- Easy to add centre or cross braces.
Note: 45 mm and 65 mm profiles are not interchangeable.

- 45 mm: optional reinforcement for larger sizes.
- 65 mm: add a centre brace for long rectangles or a cross for large squares.
