Crafted in the Netherlands from carefully selected spruce, triple-laminated and 100% PEFC-certified (CU-PEFC-807830). The smart interlocking slot connects securely — no glue or nails. Wedges are included free of charge.

When to use a centre brace

Add a centre brace for rectangular/elongated canvases when the longest side is > 120 cm. From 50 cm and up, our bars feature a slot that the brace locks into.

Example (centre brace)

• 60 × 130 cm → order 2 × 60 + 2 × 130 cm + centre brace 60 cm.

When to use a cross brace

Choose a cross (two slotted braces that interlock) for (near) square canvases where both sides are > 100 cm. The cross clicks into the frame slots and distributes tension evenly.

Examples (cross)

• 120 × 130 cm → 2 × 120 + 2 × 130 cm + 2 braces (120 & 130 cm) → cross.
• 108 × 150 cm → 2 × 108 + 2 × 150 cm + 2 braces (108 & 150 cm) → cross.

FAQ

Can I assemble it myself?

Yes. The interlocking slot slides into the frame — no glue or nails. Use a rubber mallet to keep everything square.

Centre brace or cross?

Choose a cross for (near) square canvases with both sides > 100 cm, or for very large works needing extra torsional rigidity.

Mix 45 mm with 65 mm?

No. These braces are for 65 mm only. For 45 mm, please get in touch.
