How to order individual bars
For one complete stretcher frame, order two identical lengths for the width and two identical lengths for the height:
- 40 × 63 cm → 2 × 40 cm + 2 × 63 cm
- 33 × 60 cm → 2 × 33 cm + 2 × 60 cm
Canvas & sizing advice
- Keep your fabric at least 5 cm larger on all sides than the frame.
- Stretch evenly; finish corners last.
- Use the supplied wedges for re-tensioning.
Choosing between 45 mm and 65 mm
When 45 mm?
- Smaller, lightweight canvases (e.g., 30×40, 40×50, 40×80 cm).
- When the artwork will be framed.
When 65 mm?
- Larger canvases needing extra rigidity.
- Unframed wall display.
- Easy to add centre or cross braces.
Note: 45-mm and 65-mm profiles are not interchangeable.
