This vineyard, planted in 1996, with the Touriga Nacional grape variety in granitic terrain, has about 3.5 hectares. It gets its name from the fact that it is adjacent to the "Novos" winery which in turn is so named because it was built by D. Antónia Adelaide Ferreira after verifying that the Adega da Barca Velha, which was built earlier, was not big enough. to accommodate all production of the Quintas. In the early years we discovered that it produced a very distinct wine, compared to the Tourigas that were planted on other soil types. A small amount in the Meandro or Vale Meão blend completely changed the final style of these wines. We then came to the conclusion that since it has its own identity, it should be bottled without any mixing with other grapes.
 
 
A very original, floral nose with citrus notes. In the mouth, the floral profile is retained and this wine enchants you with its softness. It presents an extraordinary elegance, excellent acidity and fine but present tannins.
