It's astonishing how the various D.O.C. regions in Portugal produce such diverse wines using the same grape varieties. An intense aroma with notes of ripe black fruit and a slightly spicy touch. Subtle and elegant attack. Plenty of volume on the palate, with a fruity texture, reminiscent of plums and blueberries. Soft tannins and medium acidity.
 
Food pairing
Fine with smoked duck breast, pork roulade from the oven and mature cheeses. Also great for drinking!
