Cleaning: It is better not to clean your decanter in the dishwasher to prevent breakage. You can clean a decanter with special carafe cleaners (Pulltex Decanter Cleaner) or by hand in warm water.
 Do not use an abrasive sponge or brush and only clean the outside, never the inside, with soap. If you only want to remove some red wine stains from your decanter you can easily do this by decanting white wine in it. Use a carafe drier for drying
