About the Photographer

William Rutten (1970) is one of the Netherlands’ best-known portrait photographers. He started his career in music photography and evolved into a versatile image maker who captures people in their purest form — without embellishment, with full attention to light and character. With the series “Face It”, Rutten achieved his first solo museum exhibition, attracting over 10,000 visitors and receiving wide acclaim for its emotional depth and simplicity.
