Mauro is handcrafted in Italy. After the wooden mirror frame has been completely constructed and assembled, the entire frame is finished by hand with silver leaf by experienced Italian craftsmen. The exceptionally thin sheets of silver leaf are carefully applied one by one to the already assembled frame.

After the silver leaf has been applied, this finish receives a very subtle champagne glow. This gently softens the silver and gives the frame a warm, elegant nuance. The colour remains unmistakably silver, but is slightly softer and warmer than the Bright Silver finish.

Depending on the way the light falls across the frame, the individually applied sheets of silver leaf subtly catch the light. The delicate champagne glow adds depth and gives Mauro a refined appearance that combines beautifully with both warm and cool interior colours.

Because the complete frame is constructed first and only then coloured and finished with silver leaf, the corners and mitre joints are fully incorporated into the silver finish. This ensures that the mitre joints are fully coloured and creates a refined, high-quality finish across the entire frame.

With the Bright Silver finish, the silver leaf remains bright and untreated after application. This Silver finish receives a very subtle champagne glow, giving the silver a slightly softer and warmer tone.
