The Paola is an exceptional Italian mirror with a richly decorated, openwork wooden frame. This particular piece is truly one of a kind: the frame has been specially hand-finished in a unique combination of silver leaf, a subtle champagne glow and dark patina.

This colour finish was created exclusively for this single piece. Paola has never before been produced in exactly this finish and will never be made again in this colour combination. This is therefore not the last mirror from an existing series, but a genuinely unique mirror of which only one example exists.

The silver leaf deliberately avoids a cool, bright silver appearance. A very subtle champagne glow softens the silver and gives the frame a warmer, richer nuance. The dark patina is mainly applied within the recessed and openwork areas, beautifully accentuating the elaborate relief of the frame.

The openwork ornamentation continues around the entire mirror. The contrast between the warm silver tones and the darker recessed areas creates an almost three-dimensional effect. Depending on the light, the nuances subtly change and different details of the hand-finished surface become visible.

Paola looks particularly beautiful in a luxury hallway, dressing room, bedroom, hotel-chic interior or classic-modern interior. The warm silver tone combines beautifully with black, greige, taupe, dark wood, marble and other natural stones.

The wooden frame has been hand-finished with silver leaf. This traditional technique gives the surface a lively appearance with subtle variations in sheen and tone that cannot be achieved with ordinary silver-coloured paint.

Subtle Champagne Glow
A very light champagne glow lies over the silver. This gives the frame a warm and elegant silver tone that responds beautifully to both natural daylight and atmospheric interior lighting.

Dark Patina for Additional Depth
The dark patina is mainly applied to the recessed and openwork areas. This further accentuates the elegant shapes and relief details and gives the ornamentation a striking sense of depth.
