The Mauro Antique Gold is an exclusive and characterful mirror with a strong design and a refined handcrafted finish. The design is inspired by classical fluting: vertical grooves in the frame that create a distinctive interplay of light and shadow through their relief. This gives the mirror additional depth and dynamism.

The solid wood frame is handcrafted in Italy and completely hand-finished with gold leaf. The frame is then traditionally patinated. This treatment gives the gold additional depth, warm colour nuances and an authentic antique gold appearance that beautifully complements the character of the fluted detailing.

The corners of the Mauro are particularly refined. Each corner features a subtle feather ornament that elegantly finishes the transition between the sections of the frame.

The combination of clean fluted detailing, elegant corner ornaments and a warm antique gold finish gives the Mauro both classic and contemporary qualities. This allows the mirror to fit effortlessly into classic, modern, hotel-chic, Mediterranean and eclectic interiors.

The Mauro can be used both horizontally and vertically. Choose it as a generous wall mirror in a hallway or living room, as a stylish overmantel mirror above a fireplace or, in a larger size, as a standing mirror or full-length mirror. Thanks to the various available sizes and made-to-measure options, the mirror can be perfectly adapted to the space.

High-quality AGC ECO mirror glass with a 20 mm bevel, an FSC® MDF backing and safety film designed to reduce the risk of injury provide a clear reflection, durability and years of enjoyment. The Mauro can be made completely to measure, allowing non-standard dimensions as well.

Gold leaf
The solid wood frame is completely hand-finished with gold leaf.

Traditionally patinated
After the gold has been applied, the frame is patinated by hand. This creates warm colour nuances, additional depth and the characteristic antique gold appearance of the Mauro.

Fluting
The deep vertical grooves in the frame create a subtle shadow effect and give the mirror more relief, rhythm and dynamism.

Feather ornaments on the corners
The corners are finished with a subtle feather ornament that elegantly interrupts the fluted detailing and adds a refined detail to the frame.
