Guido Antique Gold Mirror – classic elegance with refined ornaments

The Guido Antique Gold is an elegant classic mirror with a generous wooden frame and refined ornamentation. Inspired by antique mirror frames, the design combines calm, broad surfaces with carefully crafted decorative details. This gives the Guido a stately appearance without becoming overly ornate.

The solid wood frame is handcrafted in Italy and entirely hand-finished with gold leaf. The frame is then traditionally patinated. This patina creates warm nuances and additional depth in the gold while subtly highlighting the profile and decorative ornaments.

A distinctive feature of the Guido is the elegant ornamentation on all four corners. A smaller decorative ornament is also positioned in the centre of each side of the frame. This symmetrical arrangement gives the mirror its balanced and refined classical appearance.

The combination of broad, understated frame sections, delicate border detailing and classical ornaments makes the Guido remarkably versatile. It complements classic, country, hotel chic and Mediterranean interiors beautifully, while also creating a warm and characterful contrast in a contemporary setting.

The Guido can be used both horizontally and vertically. Choose it as a generous wall mirror for a hallway or living room, as an elegant overmantel mirror above a fireplace, above a sideboard or console table, or in a larger size as a floor mirror or full-length mirror.

High-quality 4 mm AGC ECO mirror glass with a 20 mm bevel, an FSC® MDF backing and safety film provide a high-quality and durable finish. The Guido can also be fully custom-made, allowing bespoke dimensions to be created for your interior.

Gold leaf
The solid wood frame is entirely hand-finished with gold leaf. The gold gives the broad frame a warm, luxurious appearance and beautifully highlights its fine details.

Traditionally patinated
After the gold leaf has been applied, the frame is patinated by hand. This creates subtle variations in colour and gives the Guido its characteristic warm antique gold appearance.

Elegant corner ornaments
All four corners are richly decorated with classical ornaments. The patina accentuates the recessed areas, beautifully enhancing the depth and detailing of the ornamentation.

Subtle centre ornaments
A smaller ornament is positioned in the centre of each side of the frame. These refined details subtly interrupt the broad frame sections and create harmonious symmetry around the mirror glass.
